My school went to Bali on 3rd to 7th April, it was fun!

On the first day, me and my schoolmates gathered at Stasiun Kebon Kawung. We were going to go to Surabaya by train. We departed on 20.00, we played and talked until very late, it was a long night.

On the second day, we arrived at Stasiun Gubengan, Surabaya. Then, we continue our journey by bus. On the lunch time, the male students were having Shalat Jumat in the restaurant's Mushola. After the lunch, we continue our journey to Banyuwangi and arrived at Pelabuhan Gilimanuk on 19.00. We cross Selat Bali. We continue the trip to hotel and arrived at 2 AM in the local time.

After the rest in hotel, we were going to Tanjung Benoa. In Tanjung Benoa, we could do many watersports and visit Pulau Penyu. After the lunch there, we go to Pujamandala and went to Garuda Wisnu Kencana. We also played game and take pictures there. After that, we watch Kecak Dance. The story is about Rahwana who kidnapped Sinta and Garuda with Hanoman went to help Rama to take her back. After that, we were going to Jimbaran to have dinner. It was really awesome there. We went back to hotel at 22.30.

After the breakfast in hotel, we went to Desa Adat Penglipuran where traditionalism and culture are preserved. We also told the history of Penglipuran and we tried the traditional food. After that, we went to Kintamani restaurant to have lunch. After the lunch, we go to Pasar Sukowati where we could buy Bali's souvenir. At 17.00, we went back to hotel for preparation for Malam Keakraban. There was some performance by the students,  #32015 awards, dance, and also a film of 2/3 of our highschool life.

Our last day in Bali, we went to Pandawa Beach. The sea was very beautiful. I can see through the water. After that, we went to Khrisna, a more organized place to buy Bali's Souvenir. After that, we go to Ngurah Rai airport to went back to Bandung. We arrive to Bandung at 16.00. Turbud was a nice trip.

Holiday -New Year-

26-27 December 2013, I was visiting Lembang with my family. We were going to met our relative. They were family from my grandmother's foster family. We held a meeting every year, usually between christmas and new year holidays. We stayed in Lembang for the night. In that night, my relative family were having a presentation about our family's bloodline and relationship. On the next day, we were leaving Lembang.

On the new year's eve, i went out with my friends to celebrate our community's birthday. There should be 5 of us, but, the others 2 members can not come. We went to a restaurant and internet cafe for the night.

Until the last saturday in the holiday, I spent the rest of my holiday at home playing computer, or going to some internet cafe to play some massive multiplayer online computer games with my friends.

On the last day in the holiday, I start to do my gamtek homework with my friends. The homework is monochromatic and polychromatic 2D nirmana. I finish my monochromatic homework in one day, but the polychromatic takes 3 days because the polychromatic nirmana has much color in it.

The Next Leader

Hello! let me introduce myself. I am Bimasakti Sinar Putra from XI science 2 class. I am the second candidate for the student's council president.

My vision is to make all students into one giant group, a giant family, untie as one, SMA Negeri 3 Bandung. I want all the students in this school unite as one group, not spreading in many group and destroying each other. We can only do some things if we have small group. But, if we are compact as one, we can even do the impossible things.

My missions is to gather all the students from this school and make all the students' main goal.
My program is to gather all the students and make them know each of them.
If I am choosed, let's do the impossible together as SMA Negeri 3 Bandung's students.

Supernova

A supernova (abbreviated SN, plural SNe after "supernovae") is a stellar explosion that is more energetic than a nova. It is pronounced /ˌsuːpəˈnoʊvə/ with the plural supernovae /ˌsuːpəˈnoʊviː/ or supernovas. Supernovae are extremely luminous and cause a burst of radiation that often briefly outshines an entire galaxy, before fading from view over several weeks or months. During this interval a supernova can radiate as much energy as the Sun is expected to emit over its entire life span. The explosion expels much or all of a star's material at a velocity of up to 30,000 km/s (10% of the speed of light), driving a shock wave into the surrounding interstellar medium. This shock wave sweeps up an expanding shell of gas and dust called a supernova remnant.
Nova means "new" in Latin, referring to what appears to be a very bright new star shining in the celestial sphere; the prefix "super-" distinguishes supernovae from ordinary novae which are far less luminous. The word supernova was coined by Walter Baade and Fritz Zwicky in 1931.
Supernovae can be triggered in one of two ways: by the sudden reignition of nuclear fusion in a degenerate star; or by the collapse of the core of a massive star. A degenerate white dwarf may accumulate sufficient material from a companion, either through accretion or via a merger, to raise its core temperature, ignite carbon fusion, and trigger runaway nuclear fusion, completely disrupting the star. The core of a massive star may undergo sudden gravitational collapse, releasing gravitational potential energy that can create a supernova explosion.
Although no supernova has been observed in the Milky Way since Kepler's Star of 1604 (SN 1604), supernova remnants indicate that on average the event occurs about three times every century in the Milky Way. They play a significant role in enriching the interstellar medium with higher mass elements. Furthermore, the expanding shock waves from supernova explosions can trigger the formation of new stars.

Waterspout

A waterspout is an intense columnar vortex (usually appearing as a funnel-shaped cloud) that occurs over a body of water, connected to a cumuliform cloud. In the common form, it is a non-supercell tornado over water. While it is often weaker than most of its land counterparts, stronger versions spawned by mesocyclones do occur. Waterspouts do not suck up water; the water seen in the main funnel cloud is actually water droplets formed by condensation. While many waterspouts form in the tropics, other areas also report waterspouts, including Europe, New Zealand, the Great Lakes and Antarctica. Although rare, waterspouts have been observed in connection with lake-effect snow precipitation bands.
Waterspouts have a five-part life cycle: formation of a dark spot on the water surface, spiral pattern on the water surface, formation of a spray ring, development of the visible condensation funnel, and ultimately decay.

Result of Debate - This House Believes That Penguins Should Not Be Kept As A Pet

Introduction

Penguin is an animal that mostly live on North Antartica, the coldest place on the Earth. They are unique animals, having wings on their body but can not fly. They use the wings to swim through waters to hunt their food. Because penguins are unique, there are some people who wants to have them as their pet. But, their current number are decreasing, so the government decided to label them as an endangered animal.

 

Benefit

Although most penguin live on North Antartica, there are also some which live on the Southern Hemisphere. There are reported some species of penguin which live on Galapagos Island on the South America which have tropical water. Indonesia have tropical weather, so we can bring those species as pet in Indonesia. Anyways, living things have the ability to adapt with their new habitat. Because the weather is not really different, they will be faster to adapt. We can even build a place similar to their habitat. Make a new home for them. We can make artificial ocean in our backyard if we are rich enough. Because penguin are penguins are endangered species, we have to be responsible if we want to pet them. But, we can ask government to have certain endangered animals as pet.

 

Disadvantages

We live in tropical island, we can take penguin from Galapagos Island, but we cant take penguin from the other place which have cold weather. It will be hard for other penguin because they will be hard to adapt with tropical weather. If build a new similar habitat, there will be a chance for the penguins to lost their natural instinct. For example, if we keep feeding them, the penguin might lose their hunting skill. And if we let it out back to the wild life, they will be confused to adjust back to its own habit. Then, with penguins' s endangered label, penguin is not easy to take care. If they die in our hands, it will be our responsibility, and the decreasing in number will be our responsibility. We would be interferring nature. It's best to leave what belongs to nature.

 

Conclusion

Penguin is a unique animal. With the unique characteristics, there are many people interested to have them as pet. Even if there are many ways to have them as pet, it's better to let them on its own habitat. There are many pet which was easier to adapt.
